Antique Edwardian Amethyst Necklace 9ct Gold Circa 1910

A fabulous antique Edwardian necklace from the early 20^th century adorned with twelve deep purple amethysts weighing approx. 1ct each (12ct total).?

Each stone is held in a 9ct gold frame and linked with twisted gold knots in between. It¡¯s a wonderful piece and the gold and purple contrast beautifully together.?
